SARAH LOVE GETS REGULAR BBC 1XTRA SHOW

Big ups to WAH! magazine's first cover star, DJ Sarah Love, who has bagged herself a new regular radio show on BBC 1Xtra. From next week, Sarah Love, resident at top London night Kung-Fu, will be playing a hip-hop mix show on Thursdays from 2am - 6am. If you don't have digital radio (or aren't based in the UK), you can catch all BBC 1Xtra radio shows online.

This has come about as part of some wider changes to the 1Xtra schedule, which haven't left everyone happy. The station has culled some popular shows, including those of Rodney P and Skitz, DJ Flight (female d'n'b DJ) and Aaron Ross, to make way for new shows from Trevor Nelson and Tim Westwood, prompting some to accuse the station of selling out and trying to be more commercial. Someone's even knocked up a protest MySpace page.

In any case, respect to Sarah Love and we look forward to hearing her spin that heavyweight tunage on a regular basis.
